Soul Provider 3 is the perfect marriage of vintage sounds, dusty samples, fused with the most modern production techniques & presets. Classically authentic to its soul and hip-hop roots, MSXII Sound Design has once again gone far above and beyond the rest to leave you with a timeless product that’s been dipped in soul, r&b, funk, pop, jazz, and progressive vibes. You’ll find drums that kick you in your chest. Snares that will break your neck. Melodies built with Fender Rhodes, electric guitar, Mellotron, vintage synths, and live bass were chopped up so effortlessly you’d believe the kits were lifted from vinyl of the late 60’s and ’70s. Yet, everything is completely original. Per usual. All kits received vintage outboard processing, resampling, and compression, to bring you maximum texture and character. Vocal chops and laser-like FX sprinkle this MPC Expansion like the perfect dessert to a fine meal. Soul Provider Vol. 3 comes directly ready to load into Standalone or Software Modes of your MPC. MSXII has taken advantage of the critically acclaimed plugin suite shipping within the MPC platform. You’ll immediately enjoy tons of new presets that showcase the sound design aspect of the expansion. Use these presets as a learning guide or create your own, new textures if you’d like! Akai Professional & 12 Bit Soul have teamed up to deliver the MPC Expansion DEFinitive 90s R&B . 90s R&B represents the rapid rise from genre music to mainstream cultural and commercial dominance over this transformative decade. Forever intertwined with the sounds of Rap/Hip-Hop, there isn’t one pervasive sound that defined the era, but more so an emphasis on eclectic style blending. A rapid parallel evolution in artistry and music technology ensued in a short period of time, propelling us on a journey from the organic dusty breaks of Golden Era Hip-Hop to New Jack Swing to iconoclasts like Sade coupled with the meteoric rise of the Dirty South, retrofitted Neo Soul stylings, and the arrival of the Shiny Suit Era, where Hip-Hop moguls and superstar divas were born. This expansion captures that moment in time as R&B continued its progression alongside Hip-Hop. - 1.59 GB of high quality sounds. -40 kits featuring 100+ 90s inspired composition loops and well over 500 one-shots sampling sounds and gear of that era: horns, piano, organ, keys, strings, synths, live bass, guitar, and dusty vinyl & crisp digital drums to represent the fast-evolving sound of the decade. All sounds created and processed with our extensive collection of analog and digital gear, including popular instruments and samplers from the 90s era. -25 Keygroups sampling from analog and digital keyboards, rack gear and synths: fat basses, electric pianos, pads, leads and more.

The library was developed by Matia Simovich (INHALT & Jupiter Rising) to exude thecharacteristic and moody sound that only an OB analog synth can provide. Everything from Prince-like stabs, long pad bursts, and punchy unison basses have been expertly sampled to provide an organic playing experience within the MPC workflow. The emphasis with this library is capturing the distinct and uniquely analog character of this classic polysynth while also making a diverse set of patches that are all production ready and encompass every sound needed to take your song to the finish line. Also included is a comprehensive classic drum kit, and, when combined with the synth patches, gives birth to the OB SYSTEM.
